On July10th - 12th Te Mete headlines as Judge for Fibre and Fleece Art and Fashion Awards.
Fibre and Fleece is a creative showcase that has been in business for over 25 years, the show promises to produce exciting inovative art and fashion, where all products that are created are made of 90% natural materials.
The 2015 event has an ANZAC theme, Te Mete was commissioned to produce an artwork to be the face of the show, The artwork titled "ANZAC" will be available for tender during the event.
Fibre and Fleece will take place in Opotiki, Bay of Plenty at the De Luxe Theatre, and there will be a prize pool of over $12000 that will be granted to some talented individuals.
Te Mete was appoached by festival director Paula Black to assess and judge the competitors "Te Mete is a respected and well known artist in New Zealand, he brings a conceptual creative and innovative perspective, our second judge Trish Strongman, who is a multimedia textile artist from New Zealand and wearable Artist Judge. Te Mete and Trish will make a strong and fair team"
